I\u2019m a senior from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. I will graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering in December 2023<\/h3>\n

About me<\/h2>\n

I started my professional career in 2016 by doing freelance IT work. I’ve always had a passion for technology and math, which made teaching myself the trade a simpler task. Over the course of my 8 years in the field, I have acquired many skills relevant to my degree, including developing professional reports and presentations, implementing major infrastructure changes, and per project cost estimation, with a cost \/ benefit analysis.<\/p>

Since 2021, I have been working with my father, a licensed structural engineer, in various aspects of the profession. At first, I was simply an office manager. With time and experience, however, I was able to work my way up to becoming a civil engineering analyst. This role challenged me positively, as it applied much of what I learned throughout my college career, while also adding client relations and various aspects of project management.\u00a0<\/p>

Some fun facts about myself, I am conversationally proficient in German. I have studied it on and off for years, as many of those in my extended family speak the language. I am capable of coding in C++ and Java, while being mostly self taught. In my free-time, I enjoy exploring new eateries with my girlfriend, building and maintaining various computer systems, and making various instrumental beats.<\/p>\n

What I do…<\/h3>\n

My main focuses are on the design and analysis of structures and infrastructure. Throughout my time at university, I studied design heavy classes, all of which allow me to better assist professional engineers in the beginning phases of construction. I am also capable of writing technical reports, communicating with both industry professionals and the general populace, and assisting in site inspections.<\/p>\n
